Capital Campaign Collateral
Commemorative Air Force, Missouri Wing
The Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (C.A.F.) is an all-volunteer organization in Missouri. It currently has three aircraft under its direction: North American B-25J Medium Bomber, Grumman TBM-3E Torpedo Bomber and the Aeronca L-3 Observation Plane. None of the planes are currently operable, which is why the Missouri Wing is seeking a $1M capital campaign to fund the expensive engine and maintenance of these aircraft.

Essentially, the C.A.F. exists to preserve combat aircraft flown by the US in World War II and pay tribute to those who built, serviced and flew the aircraft…and educate new generations of our American military aviation heritage. The Missouri Wing is able to acquire, restore, maintain, and operate aircraft with finances from members' dues, other contributions, aircraft sponsors, and fundraising events. However, replacing the North American B-25J Medium Bomber is very expensive. As a result, the Missouri Wing developed capital campaign materials to communicate this need and encourage donor contributions.
The theme, “Keep ‘em flying” and design are based on vintage World War II posters. The cover artwork is based on actual images of the two planes.

Learning the stories of these planes and their missions was an incredible experience; it was particularly exciting to sit in the B-25. Can’t wait to see them in the air again!
