McDermott Interactive Decision Guide
Mercer
Mercer teamed with fister to develop an online flash presentation for McDermott International to inform its employees of their 2009 healthcare options and encourage online enrollment. The presentation is housed on McDermott’s intranet with enrollment currently underway.

Employees often find the annual healthcare enrollment overwhelming; yet, it is imperative that they choose the best option for their needs. To help simplify this process, Mercer used a new electronic medium (instead of print) for the 20,000 McDermott employees to review and choose.
Initially, Mercer determined the “park” theme and from there, fister presented two unique park concepts, with McDermott choosing the state park idea. Mercer provided the script and copy and fister created all of the visuals and animations, including art direction of the video and audio components. Additionally, fister worked with a developer to implement the visuals into flipbook and animations. The result is a fun, yet educational, tool for McDermott employees to use to make their enrollment decisions.

After creating this interactive guide, I feel that I could make an informed decision on the Consumer Option!
